Tim Girdler serves as the Senior Pastor of Real Life Community Church.  Tim is a native of Lanham, Maryland (in the area of College Park) and is a 1991 graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School.

Following high school, Tim attended The Manhattan School of Music in New York City for two years where he was a trumpet performance major.

Upon returning home to Maryland in 1993, Tim enrolled at the University of Maryland where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1998.

After teaching for two years at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland, Tim moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 2000 to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In 2007, he graduated with a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry.  Tim has served three churches in Kentucky in various roles.

He and his wife Bonnie have been married since 2005 and they have a daughter named Katelyn.
